The Passion Oratorio „Jerusalem“ has been composed by Gunther Martin Goetttsche in 2016. This contract work first was made for the Collegiate Church Landau/Pfalz; the world premiere took place on Good Friday, 2017 April 14th. As the textual basis, the composer employed only excerpts from the Bible of the Lutheran translation of the year 1984. He composed texts of the four Gospels, the Psalms, the Prophetic Books, the Book of Revelation and other biblical books.
